| Supporting BCIC’s mandate to accelerate and expand science and technology-based economic development in the province, Innovation Futures promotes awareness and exploration of science and technology amongst BC’s youth. In collaboration with BC science and technology outreach organizations, school districts, professional bodies and industry, BCIC will encourage high school students to pursue a post-secondary education in science, engineering and business with a view to future careers in technology, research, innovation and commercialization in the province. Helping students make connections between their studies and possible careers will provide them with direction and initiative to explore these areas. |
